Parable of the Dancing God

by Dr C. Baxter Kruger

Be prepared to have your world-view changed!

Dr. Kruger's first book is a window into the shocking truth about God — He dances in joy over us! God is not a divine legalist, a bookkeeper, who watches us like a hawk to see if we keep his rules. He is a passionate Father who desires nothing from us except that we know His acceptance and delight, and he calls us to participate in the life and joy that the Father, Son and Spirit share together. This book will bring tears to your eyes and deep healing to your souls. But be warned, it also exposes the folly of "religion".

What Readers Think

“The Parable of the Dancing God is the best theological ground in which to anchor the Father Heart of God message. This booklet carries a message desperately needed by billions of non-dancing dancers across the planet.”

–Tom Hallas, Field Director, YWAM, Asia-Pacific

“I had tried for 55 years, 11 months, and 16 days to get it right. I mean, tried really hard. It was after 11 o'clock that night when I decided I had to read this little booklet “Parable of the Dancing God” my son-in-law had sent me. When I got to about the third page, I felt like I had been hit in the face with an iron frying pan. I laid back on the pillow, bewildered, and said, "God, have I been thinking wrong all my life?" The response was a simple and clear, “Yes.” And that is just the tip of the iceberg.

–Julian Fagan, Attorney, Amory, Mississippi

About the Author

Dr C. Baxter Kruger, like C.S. Lewis, struggled to make a connection between God and joy; in fact, church life and Christianity appeared to be the very antithesis. That changed forever when he came to the realisation that God is a 'dancing' God and the Trinity are eager for us to share in their life of passion and creativity.

Baxter Kruger, theologian, writer and lure designer, is the Director of Perichoresis Inc.  A native of Prentiss, Mississippi, Baxter has a BA from the University of Mississippi, a M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from Kings College, University of Aberdeen. He has worked as a minister to college students, as a lecturer in theology at the University of Aberdeen, and as an associate pastor.

Today he teaches and preaches around the USA, Canada and Australia. He is an avid fisherman and golfer, and has designed a series of life-like fishing lures called "Mediator Lures". He and his wife Beth have three children-Baxter, Laura and Kathryn.

As Director of Perichoresis, Baxter's role is to hammer out a fresh and liveable Christian theology and to share it through relationships, books, lectures, conferences, seminars and theological education. He is the author of The Parable of the Dancing God, Home, The Secret, God is For Us, The Great Dance, Jesus and the Undoing of Adam, and the soon to be released: Across All Worlds.
